What is techno temple?

Techno Temple is a wellness brand founded by two passionate women dedicated to blending techno music, breathwork and somatic movement to create transformative and transcendent experiences.

Our workshops aim to to empower individuals through an innovative fusion of techno rhythms, mindful breathing, and expressive movement, fostering deep healing and spiritual awakening. To worship the temples of the mind, body, and soul.

About our logo

Our logo is a fusion of two ancient symbols: the triangle and the wa'ata, drawing from the profound significance of each in our brand's philosophy and the experiences we create.

Wa'ata:
The Magic of Music

Our use of the wa'ata symbol inside the triangle draws inspiration from the ancient Quatrians, who believed that music and magic were one and the same. To them, sound held a mystical power, capable of shaping reality, influencing emotions, and connecting with spiritual realms.

These shapes also reflect the resonance and energy that music, like magic, can create, rippling beyond its immediate source.

The Quatrians saw music as a bridge between the physical and metaphysical, and through wa'ata, they practiced a kind of “musical alchemy,” using specific tones, rhythms, and melodies to achieve healing, spiritual insight, and transcendence.

The six circles in our symbol represent the Solfeggio frequencies—a repeating pattern of six codes—emphasizing the power of sound to foster transformation. These frequencies align with the numbers 3, 6, and 9, connecting with ancient principles of harmony and universal energy.

The Triangle: The Sacred Space for transformation

The triangle serves as a symbol of the sacred, safe space we curate through our workshops—a transformative temple.

This shape has deep spiritual and mathematical meaning, embodying unity, balance, and the foundation of reality. In many ancient traditions, the triangle represents the number three, a number of completion and harmony.

In sacred geometry, the triangle is the first shape to enclose space, marking the shift from the formless (the point) to form (the plane).

This transition reflects our workshops’ purpose: to create a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms, providing a pathway for transcendence.

The triangle symbolizes stability and unity, and its use in our logo reflects our intention to foster a balanced, supportive space for participants to explore, release, and awaken.

Merging the Triangle and Wa'ata

Together, the triangle and wa'ata form the core of our logo, representing both the sacred container we provide and the magic we cultivate within it.

The triangle encloses the essence of wa'ata, symbolizing the immersive experiences we create in our workshops. Within this space, participants are guided through a transformative journey, facilitated by the powerful combination of music, movement, and breath.

Just as the Quatrians used sound to bridge worlds, our workshops harness the energy of music to open portals, summon new perspectives, and deepen consciousness. The triangle's strength provides a supportive container for this journey, and wa'ata fills it with vibrational magic that resonates beyond the workshop, creating lasting, positive change.

In essence, our logo is a visual representation of our mission: to offer a space where participants can experience deep healing, connect with their inner selves, and transcend their current state of being. Through this integration of ancient wisdom, sacred geometry, and the mystical power of music, we aim to unlock transformative potential and facilitate meaningful shifts in consciousness.

The Spiritual Nature of Techno

Techno music, a genre characterized by repetitive beats, synthesized rhythms, and electronic sounds, has a profound impact not only on listeners' physical and emotional states but also on their spiritual wellbeing.

The spiritual effects of music can be subjective and vary from person to person, but recent research suggests techno music can facilitate trance states, emotional release, positive embodiment, community connection, personal transformation, and enhanced sensory perception.

Techno music has the power to initiate a trance like state, a meditative experience, enhanced focus and mindfulness, cathartic release and so much more. It's the secret sauce that elevates the breathwork to another level.

We are Sophia and Tess, the co-founders of Techno Temple, a movement born from our shared passion for blending techno music with spiritual practices to create a space for healing and transformation.

Hi, I'm Sophia

I grew up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and I never felt like I fit in.

I have experienced mental health challenges for as long as I can remember. Anxiety, depression, OCD - you name it, I had it.

Early in my teens, I searched for a way to cope with my emotional state and became addicted to an eating disorder which lasted over five years.

Through my recovery, I have explored somatic practices, Kriya, Himalayan breathwork, psychotherapy, and neuroscience. Slowly but surely, I began to feel empowered, peeling back layers to reveal my most authentic self.

My passion is bridging the gap between science and spirituality, showing that the link between them is effortless.

The idea for techno breathwork came to me on the back of a scooter, riding through Ubud in Bali. I was visualising my own breathwork practice and thought, “Why not combine techno with breathwork?”

It felt like a crazy idea, but it sparked something powerful within me—a fire that Tess and I both share.

Together, we’re merging our love for personal development with our love for techno, creating a space that offers profound healing and self-discovery.

Hi, I'm Tess

Hey, beautiful souls! I’m Tess, the other half of Techno Temple, and for me, techno has always been more than music—it’s been my lifeline, my healer, and my pathway to freedom. Through its beats, I find myself fully present, connected to my inner child, and living in my truest essence.

My journey has been a wild ride. I’ve navigated loss, heartbreak, and some of life’s toughest challenges. After losing both of my parents to addiction and cancer, I found myself engulfed in pain—mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I struggled with depression, anxiety, and harmful coping mechanisms, feeling disconnected from the world around me.

But in the depths of that darkness, I had a moment of awakening, one that led me to a path of healing and transformation.

I began exploring holistic practices, immersing myself in yoga, and becoming certified as a holistic health coach.

Through this journey, I reclaimed my life and discovered my purpose: to help others heal and find their way back to wholeness.

Now, I’ve teamed up with my soul sister, Sophia, to create Techno Temple—a space where music and spirituality intertwine, offering a transformative journey for everyone who steps inside.
